Admission
is by CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION,
plus $5.00 at the door. Those without a certificate must pay $20.00
at the door. If you are registered with a participating Wisconsin
college career office, obtain the CERTIFICATE from that office
and bring it to the fair. Anyone without a certificate must register
and pay $20.00 at the door.
Wisconsin
Graduates
If
you are a graduate from a Wisconsin university:
Obtain a CERTIFICATE
OF REGISTRATION
from
your college career office.
Be sure to bring this certificate and $5.00. Without
it, the charge is $20.00 to enter the Fair.
Graduates
from Out-of-State Teaching Colleges
If
you are not a graduate of a Wisconsin institution, you
will need to register and pay $20.00 at the door the day of the
fair.
At
The Fair:
Doors
open at 9:00 a.m. At the registration table you will receive
a WERF packet which will contain the following:
- A
candidate registration card - Write
your name, address, teaching fields, and home placement office
on this card.
- An
interview strategies informational
sheet.
- A
contact sheet - Addresses and contact
persons for districts at the Fair.
- An
evaluation form - We would greatly
appreciate hearing about your Fair experience. The Fair was shaped
by input from past evaluation forms.
Interviewing will go on continuously from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Registration
Tips

Use the District
Recruiters on-line listing to search school districts
to create a prioritized list of the employers with whom you wish
to interview. This is very important. This information
will be updated on a regular basis.
- Bring
pencils, paper and plenty of copies of your resume.
- Plan
to spend all day Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
at the Fair. The districts
that will be interviewing are indicated on-line before
the Fair. Be aware that these may changes due to last minute cancellations.
If a school district does not come, you can leave your resume
at the Registration / Information Table and we will send it on to the school
district.
